About 'The Guardian.'

Fox and foxgloves by moonlight!

I love exploring country churchyards, some of which are brilliant places for wildlife and full of intriguing stones and inscriptions.  Poignant too, when you see such tangible evidence of loss and the frequent shortness of life in centuries past.

This churchyard is based on St George's,  in Benenden, Kent, where we have family.  I find it peaceful rather than eerie (that said, I've yet to explore it by moonlight!) and I hope this picture captures a sense of that.
