About 'The Trespasser'
This mysterious scene is based on the old Eye Infirmary in Wolverhampton, a once beautiful historic building now in a state of dereliction.
The Eye Infirmary was the brain child of one Mr. Philip Horsman who undertook the building at his own expense of £5000. It was opened on October 23rd 1888 and early picures show an elegant, well cared for building with a sweep of well tended lawn flower beds.
Today the Eye Infirmary has been attacked by arsonists, and dangerously vandalised. Even so it exerts a strang fascination, as testified to by featuring heavily on urban explorers YouTube pages.
